the-economy-above-the-market
The Economy Above the Market
What is the reason or purpose of the economy as a whole? What ends does the economy as a whole serve? What fundamental aspects of the economy are necessary in order for all of the other parts to function well? These are the questions this work attempts to address. For example, if the labor force is without spirited motivation, then laborers see no reason to work in support of themselves and the economy. If a country lacks the capacity to refine its raw materials, then it has to rely on other countries to do so. If a technological society does not secure its farmlands and natural food, then it will feed its people with low-quality mass produced nutrition that makes them increasingly unhealthy.

The current Western liberal form of governance seems to lack adequate solutions to these dilemmas. It relies on either the free market or central government redistribution or subsidies, or on the defense industry, to plan the trajectory and goals of political economy. The communist governments or centrally planned economies, have a solution, in tyranny. The United States is founded on liberty and the rejection of tyranny. It therefore stands or falls on the cultivation of a virtuous citizenry, who, when in pursuit of the free acquisition of wealth, can justly and virtuously, order the distribution of that wealth, in accordance with what is most important and worthy.

If we show how to properly guide the free acquisition of wealth, then we make the conditions of free acquisition of wealth at once more virtuous and more possible, for more people. We guide the free acquisition of wealth in a distributed order, that meets local conditions and fulfills the overall requirements of the foundations of healthy political economy.

To preserve the conditions for the free acquisition of wealth, and more precisely, in order to preserve the life of political philosophy, we address the problem of the liberal economic order, not from the perspective of socialism or communism, nor from the perspective of capitalism, but from the perspective of an entrepreneur who seeks to win the marketplace.
We propose a special kind of market to guide the liberal economic order: patronage markets.
ASIN: B0GJ3RBHMK
VSKU: BVV.B0GJ3RBHMK.G
Condition: Good
Author/Artist:Morley, Anthony Vincent
Binding: Hardcover
Note: Any images shown are stock photographs and product may differ from what is shown.
Condition Notes: The item shows wear from consistent use, but it remains in good condition and works perfectly.
