Cathartic for her and a non-stop reading of her unbelievable life for the reader, the author felt her story had been told. But, and this is big, with no intention of going back to the airport, even declining the present airport superintendent’s personal invitation of a tour, his tour was the highlight of the author’s journey back in time. Feeling it was also part of her story that should be included in the Town of Marana’s archives next to her first book, she wrote The Rest of the Story - The Chronicles of the Avra Valley Airport continued, and it was published on September 19, 2025. Shortly after the second book was published, the author presented both books to the Town of Marana Councilmembers giving an account of the events that led to the publication of both books. The applaud from the Councilmembers and audience in attendance had the author revisit what she had written in both books.
