A field where every minute matters and every life counts.\n\nAlongside his medical career, he answered a second calling, serving as a pastor at The Bridge Christian Church in Tucson, Arizona, where he has faithfully shepherded others for more than two decades.\n\nDuring much of this time, Dr. Laurie has battled a debilitating autonomic nervous system disorder.\n\nThis contrast of doctor and patient, pastor and sufferer, gives Dr. Laurie a rare perspective. He knows both sides of pain: the clinical charts and the lived experience. He has seen what it means to have health, and what it costs to lose it.
