The 3 Strands, 1 Cord Workbook is a 10-week course for married and committed couples primarily in the institutional setting. Created by Alfred & Roberta Cleveland, a couple who has endured the conditions of incarceration for nearly 25 years, this program embodies the life lessons and biblical principles that have carried them through the concrete and razor wire circumstances of prison with grace.Compelled by the belief that love, reconciliation, redemption, and restoration can take place in any relationship, the couple set out to produce a program that will help families and couples endure and persevere through their incarceration period, as well as increase one's general relationship skills. The Curriculum and Workbook will teach couples the following: ~ how to do time together successfully ~ what true love is according to biblical standards ~ unique advantages to an incarcerated relationship ~ how to improve friendships and relationships in general ~ how to detect the little foxes that seek to destroy the relational vine ~ how to handle court delays and denials ~ how to overcome the negativity of family members and friends, and much, much more! The 10-week course is designed to be taken in the prison environment by both couples (CFC). Because of particular restrictions and policies at certain institutions that may prevent couple interaction, the program is set up with an incarcerated-only model (CFI) as well.
