A DERIVATIVE ‘LIFE’ - REVIEW Of late, awareness of the suspect nature of our reality has been growing. More and more talk is seeping in as to how we are all living in a Matrix, a simulation of reality. While this concept may be familiar from the past as a version of Maya – the reality we perceive is a veil of appearances arising from the cosmic quantum energy soup – what is particularly frightening about this understanding is that the simulation we are taught to accept as our reality is, in fact, under someone else’s control. And that someone or something else does not have our best interests at heart. Maya does not set out to trap us in this reality, but allows us to experience it; the Matrix, on the other hand, does set out to trap us and limit our consciousness. A Derivative Life is an expose and a dissection of that entrapment in all of its aspects, ranging from the social, to the political, the medical, the economic, the philosophical, and beyond. Heartsong’s ambitious brief is to expose the mechanisms of control and manipulation humanity has been subjected to. He tackles the government, the media, high tech, academia, big pharma, health care, inflation (did you know there was zero inflation from 1665 til 1842?), global warming aka climate change and the role of geoengineering, the cabal-below, crimes against humanity, corruption, divide and conquer campaigns such as Wokeism, Black Lives Matter (Heartsong is a Black American himself), all designed to deflect from people’s real concerns and splinter them – in short, little escapes his scrutiny. The key question of A Derivative Life cannot be ignored: why would humanity be pursuing such antihuman policies? For some this material will be confirmation, for others too far out on the fringes. Only what is on the fringes has a habit of surfacing sooner or later as a central issue. Much of the material may be challenging, yet the argument and the picture that emerge are coherent and cannot be lightly dismissed, even if you disagree with all or part. This is not a book for the faint-hearted, and Heartsong dares you to read to the end. A Derivative Life is fervent, passionate, and erudite in its research. It does not pretend at neutrality – we are too far gone to allow ourselves that luxury, and Heartsong’s indignation often spills over. It is too late to ignore the elephant in the room, to take up one of Heartsong’s own recurring metaphors. It is an invitation not to settle for the simulation, not be caught up in the cheap copies and counterfeit goods but go for the real treasure itself – our true Being and our true Home. If you want to engage with a truthseeker not afraid to look behind the veil and tell what he found there, Heartsong’s book is for you. It is indeed a song from the heart. And yes, he is a fan of The Matrix. —Dr Irina Kuzminsky (aka Irinushka) DPhil (Oxon); MA, BMus (Hons), BA (Hons) Poet - Dancer - Singer Know That You Are 'Living' in a Simulation, an Earth-Based Matrix! Know this, you are not who or what or where you think you are. This human body is merely an avatar, it is not your body. Earth is not your home, it has never been. In truth, you are a great deal more than you might ever imagine or can now even remember. It is time for you to remember and time for you to come Home. A little less than a decade ago the author of this book had two profound back to back, paranormal experiences. These experiences gave him a behind the scenes look at this illusory reality, this dream that we call life. Even first hand experience didn’t prepare him to believe what he had seen. That understanding came with time and this is his story about the truth of who we are and where we are and where Home is. Time to Wake Up and Return Home.
