A Happy Christmas at Fernwood Cottages

The tenants of Fernwood Cottages are aghast when their new landlord, Jason DeVries, issues them with notice of termination of tenancy. Not only is finding affordable accommodation beyond the means of several of the tenants, they also have their own personal problems. Sherry and Mike have been together over five years but there is no talk of them moving in together or getting married. When the prospect of being picked to open an office in Paris crops us, should she accept the offer and make Mike realize that he will miss her? Jessica’s husband is on a lecture tour of Africa, leaving her bored, lonely and very resentful at being left at Fernwood Cottages where she does not like her neighbours. Then she meets handsome, charming Ross. Millie is working hard as always to support her two children, twins Maeve and Danny and hold down her cleaning jobs. She has a run in with Jason DeVries the new landlord early on but then he seems to change for the better. But she has made it plain that she does not like him. Will she have to eat her words? The one thing they have in common is their community spirit, everyone helps everyone else. Will this be enough to save the day for them and keep them in the cottages they love so much?
