Description

It has been almost 200 years since Solomon died and the kingdom split. 2 tribes to the south (Judah) and 10 tribes to the north (Israel). Israel is experiencing a time of great prosperity, but it is at the expense of their spiritual lives. They have been in rebellion for all of the nearly 200 years of the split, and God is about to bring judgment on His people. So God does what He does best, chooses the most unusual person, to bring about His Proclamation of Judgment. Amos is an often overlooked, but very important book of Old Testament history, and prophecy.
