Description
Herin is a story of admiration and adulation for my mother, Nettie Marie Gates Sayre, the most substantive person I have ever personally know.
Her absence from my life now creates in me a great precipice, and this is my attempt to give her the honor she was not given during life, but much deserves and is given here in this humble writing.
So, too, then, this is a story of my love I cannot give her since her passing when I was only sixteen years old.
