A Second Look: An Impressionistic Journey Across the River of Time

This final story of the trilogy can stand alone from the other two books. It can be read without familiarity with the preceding stories. Though the stories in the three books are interwoven, they are complete within themselves. If, however, you read either of the first two books in this series, you will be familiar with the parallel form used whenever a first-person narration change occurs. Much of this story is told in what is known as third-person narrative – something that is common to most books. There are intimate parts of this story that should only be told by a character in the first person. Other than the beginning of each chapter, whenever there is a change in first-person narration, a bold capital letter identifies this change in voice. This slight transgression of narration is easy to follow and allows the reader to better know the mindset and inner thoughts of each character. The rest is up to you.
