A Single Source of Light: An Anthology of Short Stories

After the Covid-19 Pandemic swept through our world, we returned to school in the fall of 2019-2020 with a limited number of in-person students. In order to encourage my students to write, I modeled my original journal prompts and placed my students in these stories, incorporating their names and personalities into the writing. This book represents the first anthology of these tales which include ghostly adventures, folklore and the battle between good and evil featuring my students as the heroes and heroines of the stories in "A Single Source of Light." I chose this title as a nod to the children who made a very challenging year one of my favorite years as a teacher because of their wonderful personalities and enthusiasm for writing.
