Cindy’s adventure starts when she is 7 years old, and it only gets more exciting as centuries pass. There will be fights against cyborgs and killer robots. There will be research to advance neurotechnologies by studying the brains of jailed gangsters. And cultures will clash when most humans transfer their minds to machines, while remaining traditionalists cling to the ancient lifestyle – complete with totalitarianism, xenophobia, and propaganda. When bionic enhancements change human bodies and minds beyond recognition, the world as we know it ends. And a new age begins – as alien as it is still full of hope, love, and happiness.
