Description
A Veteran Teacher's Primer on the Teachings Of Confucius. A classroom teacher interprets the wise sayings of the Chinese sage, Confucius, to teach school age youngsters the virtues of thinking, enjoyment of work, modesty, humility, generosity, courtesy, reciprocity, and many other positive attributes. This is a book of wisdom for today's children and youth! Life Lessons For Today's Children & Youth, Based On the Ancient Wisdom Of the Chinese Sage Confucius. Drawing from the ancient "sayings of Confucius" a veteran teacher offers interpretations to help youngsters understand character and virtue. THE MASTER SAID: "What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others." THE LESSON: In your dealings with others, ALWAYS be mindful of the way you would want to be treated – and treat them that same way. The moral of this saying is quite simple. Don’t ever treat anybody in a way you wouldn’t want to be treated. Don’t ever say anything to anybody that you wouldn’t want said to you. Don’t mistreat anybody if you don’t want to be mistreated. The end result is, that you will certainly get what you have given. If you are unkind to others, they will be unkind to you. If you are unfair to others, others will be unfair to you. Likewise, if you are kind and fair to others, you will receive kindness and fairness in return. The book features a short summary of the life of Confucius so children understand why he made such an impact on the world. Kids will love this book! With its attractive custom designed bright red cover, vividly-colored "Confucius clips" and lively print, they will not only become attached to its attractive appearance but will cling to its inspiring contents as well.
