Conner Warren never expected to meet a real-life angel, but that he did, one day in a bizarre scene in his pub. A desperate man takes a seat on a barstool and minutes later pulls a shotgun from his coat and points it at Conner. Other people from the Middle East also wanted the rich treasure that Conner now possessed. After several harrowing experiences, Conner knew he was in over his head. Hadranoel was present to protect Conner and slowly help him to see that God loved him and wanted him in the kingdom. After Cassie become deathly ill with a kidney condition, Conner figured out that one of the vials of artifacts that he now possessed, might have a cure for Cassie. Conner made a deal with God, that he would serve him if He healed Cassie. Clive had been healed by accident when he was shot while escaping gunfire in the Middle East. The bullet had broken the vial which was in his breast pocket, and his healing had materialized. Cassie was completely healed overnight, and they eventually married.
