This is not the “Great American Novel”, but a heartfelt tribute memoir of a summer spent at Cape Cod with my brother Art, who was a beloved bartender and nightclub manager. It tells of the joy of who he was and how he touched so many people with his generosity, warmth, and humor despite his childhood of poverty, abuse, and now a terminal diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. The committee kept their promise by establishing The Art Westfall Foundation. All proceeds from this book will go to the Art Westfall Foundation. A non-profit organization which provides emergency financial assistance to those in need in the hospitality industry of the Cape and the nearby islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
