Life is a creative process. Our thoughts, beliefs, words, and the choices we make are the tools we use to invent our circumstances and experiences. We have the ability to create circumstances and opportunities in our lives by setting clear intentions and living in alignment with our intentions. This belief supported pure competition in what’s often described as the dog-eat-dog world that focuses on short term profits as the highest goal. This thinking spawned Have as the marker of the highest value. The problem we face as the human species is the increasing high probability of mass extinction of life on the planet . . . caused by humans seeking the high status marked by short term profits. This book describes a new way of living. Our collective task is to recover from the crises of these Extreme Times. The crises relate to the eight billion interconnected people facing unsustainable worldwide economic conditions while living on a living planet that’s experiencing rapid climate change. People read books to seek solutions.
