This book was written by Megan D'Arcy at the age of 13 shortly after her father, Michael, was killed in a tragic plane accident. This is a simple story to remind all of us to bring tenderness to tragedy and turn tragedy into triumph. All proceeds from this book will benefit Yatooma's Foundation for the Kids, a non-profit organization that provides practical, professional and personal assistance at each stage of the grieving and recovery process for families of kids who have lost a parent. Yatooma's Foundation for the Kids assists each family for an entire year mentoring, tutoring, counseling, paying bills, filling the fridge, keeping the heat on, providing for the most fundamentally basic needs, while at the same time granting orphans some extraordinary wishes. It's life-changing to see lives changing.
