Thomas Julian Edwards was the CEO of a fortune 500 company, that dealt with Mergers and Acquisitions. Often regarded as a hell on wheels kind of guy. Although he was brutally honest and a shrewd businessman, he was completely different at home. After hours he was a loving husband who loved to cook and read by the fire. Although the same couldn’t be said for his wife of 16 years. Corina was a bitch on wheels. She was often rude and inconsiderate. Much to the protest of his best friend Richard, Thomas married her anyway. During a meet and greet with potential clients, Thomas and Richard were told by the owner of the company, Michael Flannigan, to throw a small dinner party at the house welcoming the new employees from the company he had just bought. Richard and his date Dinorah ended up spending the night at Thomas’ house but in separate bedrooms. Dinorah couldn’t sleep, then again neither could Thomas thanks to his inconsiderate wife. The pair met down stairs and gabbed over tea and after placing her teacup in the scolding hot water, the cup shattered and Dinorah cut her hand. Thomas quickly jumped into action to stop the bleeding, becoming close to one another’s face. The attraction between the two was obvious. At the night of the party, it’s then that Dinorah realizes she can no longer continue her relationship with Richard. She begins to tell Thomas how much she likes Richard and cares for him, but she can't do this anymore. He often chooses to drink with his buddies versus spending time with her and this has happened more times than she can count. After calming her down, Dinorah found herself in Thomas’ comforting arms, and his body close to her. The heat between them was undeniable and they both tried to fight the feeling. Thomas planted a very sensual, passionate kiss upon Dinorah’s lips. Somehow something always pushed them together, especially since Richard was dealing with his demons and trying to drown them away with alcohol. Poor Thomas was the one who was always picking up the pieces of Dinorah’s broken heart. The next morning there is Richard himself in another woman’s bed and he fled. What will happen?
