Call of the Gun

One hot summer evening in 1877, the residents of a small Colorado mining town watched in horror as an upstart gunslinger named Creeg Dedloe delibe-rately goaded an unsuspecting young Mexican into drawing on him, then cut the man down in one smoky blast from his new six-shooter. This death wouldbe but the first in a long line of bloody encounters involving a custom- made .45caliber Colt Peacemaker that would pass from one had to another. And with each new owner, someone would end up dead. U.S. Marshal Ivory John morgan is driven to break the curse of this spellbinding Colt, but first he must make sure that he isn't seduced by the Call of the Gun.
