My name is Ceysha Anah. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm a mother of two young men that I cherish and mean the world to me. Through life I've encountered many situations some and good some bad. The bad situations somehow encouraged me to write this book. After seeing so many women go through the same situations I went through, I felt compelled to write and encourage the many other women to fight through the pain. Though I'm still working on myself, I still want my voice to be heard. As a young child I found an escape from the pain. My escape was doing hair and reading. As I grew older, I continued to do hair. All while meeting beautiful women of all walks of life. I grew to have bonds with these women while doing their hair. We would talk and from the conversations with my clients I seen that many women went through the same situations and traumas I went through. With some being even worse. Now as I stand as a woman, I see the same situations going on today. From this book I vision giving women strength to stand up and start healing. I want to be the voice giving young women the strength to speak out. Get a therapist and start letting it out. Learn about PTSD. Learn about Self-Healing. Knowing what I know now had I had the chance to gain this knowledge as a child. if I had the chance to read a book about someone who had been through what I was going through. Who looks like me I may have had the courage to speak out. Now here I stand not fully healed but enough to tell my story to the WORLD. While still learning to understand all I am.
