I was just a kid the Articles passed – when Destiny Deida and her team of machines took control of the Safe State.. When they gained the legal authority to prime my mind and send me to Scion®.. It was supposed to be a luxury, a privilege.. Finally, I’d be chipped in like the rich, clean-gened elite.. But things wasn’t gonna be that easy for me.. Guess I wasn’t born to conform.. Even if I’d wanted to, I couldn’t’ve.. Ya’ see, I’m a funky homosapien from the streets.. I wasn’t CRISPR’d to correction and still had some buggy DNA.. And when they put that chip in, it broke my brain.. It turned me into the freak that couldn’t speak.. But there’s more to this story than me bitchin’ about the system.. ‘Cause in the end, kids, there ain’t no Yin without the Yang – ain't no sinners without the Saints.. And for every Destiny Deida out there tryin’ to mandate me into cyber hell, there was a Chance Happenings helpin’ me break free.. Helpin’ me to open my Ǝye and flower into who I was supposed to become.. From a lost and lonely, stutterin’ kid to a hip hop mystic..
