A Timely Political Satire “I’ve already had a couple of LOL moments.” ~ George H. W. Bush “If Robert Ludlum and Tom Clancy got together to come up with a story, then handed it off to be written by Dave Berry, this would be that story.” Everything is running smoothly in the White House until the CIA convinces the president that Finland has weapons of mass destruction and wants to make Michigan’s Upper Peninsula a Finnish colony. The president has no choice but to declare war on the U.S. and invade the U.P. The war lasts less than twenty-four hours because the Yoopers (as the residents of Michigan’s U.P. call themselves) do not play fair. Warning: This satire pokes fun at Republicans, Democrats, Finlanders, Generals, Yoopers, and reporters. Apologies if anyone is left out.
