Commentary on the Book of James: Exposing the false teaching of Lordship Salvation, and providing a proper understanding of Predestination

Have you made Christ Lord of your life today? Did you completely die to self and put Christ on the throne of you heart? These questions most likely sound very familiar. But what remains unfamiliar is the answer to why no one truly understands how to do this. Honestly, it is because no one can. Salvation and assurance are not of our own merit or doing, but by God’s grace. Unfortunately, a vast number of people hold up the chapters in James as the supporting evidence for these perplexing statements. James isn't insinuating that works are required for salvation, it is teaching how we as Christians should live in light of our salvation. It is my prayer that this commentary will not only help believers grow in the Lord, but more importantly that those believers will then be able to win more souls for Christ—armed with a clear, confident understanding and message of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone.
