Daily Office Lectionary and Psalms

The Daily Office Lectionary is a Bible reading plan that provides a Scripture passage from the Old Testament, the Epistles, and the Gospels every day. Designers built this lectionary around the Christian calendar, beginning with Advent, and aligning readings around the major Christian holidays including Advent, Christmastide, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, and Pentecost. This lectionary edited by Derek Vreeland will lead you through nearly all the Old and New Testament. Taken from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, this revised Daily Office Lectionary has removed readings from the Apocrypha and included more reading from the Old Testament. Weekly prayers from The Book of Common Prayer have been included to make your reading a prayerful experience. The Psalms from The Book of Common Prayer have been added to this lectionary with dates above each psalm to allow you to pray the Psalm for the Day.
