Dark Side of Self

The setting is Surfside Beach, South Carolina introducing an adventurous local community of tight knit residents. While one man suffers a setback, suffering a stroke, who now lays in a coma fighting with the dimensions of his personality, faced with his own realities of low self-respect and depression wanting to give into the ailments laying there in a vegetated state, or to heal his mind and self-loathing waking and leaving the confines of hospital bed. All while a series of brutal murders have taken the lives of five men who have displayed levels of abuse towards women. Does the police Lieutenant have a serial killer in the midst of this popular vacation destination or are all events unrelated? As we read, we consider the stroke victim to be the murdered, or is it another main character? You'll have to read till its end to make your own conclusion.
