We live in a crazy time with lies and deception all around us. How can we catalogue all of the forms of deception we encounter every day. Now imagine you are a psychiatrist and what you have to figure out, who is telling you the truth? What is the truth? Do you care or are you caught up in your own messed up life. Maybe there is relief in reading about someone else's troubles. A patient decides to self publish a journal he discovered in the office of his young psychiatrist. It includes intimate details about him but even more about two psychiatrists and their patients. The characters experience some of the many forms of deceptions or deliberate lies told by a diversity of people. While we are learning about these people, a serial killer is at large, killing members of the psychiatrist’s old college roommate fraternity. Can it be someone the psychiatrist knows or one of his patients? How can we find the truth? Is it a novel or a memoir? GET OFF THE COUCH AND READ IT!
