Description
In 2006, a woman in China crashed her car while giving her dog a driving lesson. In 1924, a labrador was sentenced to life in Pennsylvania Penitentiary for having murdered the governor’s cat – and he was framed. In 2010, a dozy guard dog was retired from a bar after he slept through their only burglary in 12 years.
These, and many more, are true canine stories included in Dogs Gone Bad. Each spread features a photograph or photomontage of an erring canine, such as driving a car, sleeping on the job or doing time behind bars. Along with amusing text to accompany the image, there is also a paragraph on bizarre real-life bad dog stories – the kind of dogs that don’t win awards for bravery, the dogs who run away, who chase the cops but not the thief, who eat religious offerings or tear up Christmas.
Featuring a colour photo or photomontage of a deviating dog, Dogs Gone Bad is a fun book of 45 funny images and quirky real-life cases.
