Description
The novel "Dreamweaver" is set in the 1940's and 50's , the Camelot era of the South when boys were free to wander and take risks in the exploration of their territories. An "Angela's Ashes" with a Southern accent , the story involves the adolescent escapades of Buddy and Jimmy, mid century Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, on a poor man's farm in a terxtile village of Kannapolis in North Carolina. The Southern smorgasbord which includes dream sequences of Buddy's ancestors, an Indian couple, Amos and Lea who were 19th century slaves on a North Carolina Plantation.
