Hey Sisters, This book is really a letter to you. I felt led to share portions of my journey so that you, too, might find strength to overcome. The Lord impressed the name of this book on my heart after I walked through a long season of emotional battles—thoughts and feelings that crippled my days and stifled my productivity. For a while, I couldn’t quite place my finger on why I moved between heaviness and fleeting moments of lightness and joy. All I knew was that this wasn’t my usual self, and it certainly wasn’t my best. In my quest to find the root of this weight, I began to pray. This book contains 21 chapters, each addressing a different “enemy.” Every chapter is divided into four parts: Enemy Defined – A description and definition of that enemy. Enemy Exposed – A poem that reveals how the enemy operates, its harmful effects, and the path toward freedom. Enemy Denounced – A prayer in the form of affirmations for you to declare over your life. Read them in a quiet, private space where they can be most meaningful. Revisit them as often as you need until your spirit feels release. Enemy Notes – A space for your personal reflections: how you relate to this enemy, strategies for overcoming, or simply your own thoughts and prayers.
