First Snow, Volume 3 Home

The last book in the trilogy, "Home" is the story of George Dumas, a dishonored soldier returning from Europe at the beginning of 1945. Disowned by his parents, he planned to go west to start a new life, but his comrade, Tom Borer asked him to stay at his home near Kansas for a break. Here George found again the joy of living in a mid-western small town. George was fitting in well until he met a beautiful woman working at the movie theater. Her innocent perspectives in life despite her handicap brought hope and aspirations back into George's broken spirits. He thought about staying but then misfortune came again and this time he had no choice but to leave.
