Forged Fates

Lukas Novak, a successful architect and community leader, is madly in love with beautiful Nicky Winters. He's close friends with the charismatic Adam Lindmark, a revered art conservationist, and his lover, Natalie Collins. Then Lindmark is found tortured and brutally murdered. Within days, Winters is murdered as well. Novak's life is torn apart. Then, things get worse. Even as he is discovering that none of his friends are who he believed they were, now he learns he is the prime suspect in Lindmark's killing and is arrested and charged with Winters' murder. Thrown into a vortex of art forgery, greed, jealousy, and vengeance, Lukas doesn't know where to turn. His architectural clients abandon him. Fighting through his grief, he tries to prove his innocence enlisting the aid of his colleague, Liz Bowers. Are the murders related? Is it something to do with Lindmark's work in art restoration? Could it have something to do with a recent trip Adam took to the Mid-east? All Lukas knows is that he didn't kill anyone. And he needs to figure everything out before he ends up dead too.
