Freddy is just a little brown dog who doesn't feel special at all. He lives at the animal shelter with his friends. None of them are perfect. Then he meets Sydney, the little girl of his dreams, and Freddy finally discovers he is special after all. Created to raise funds for the Owen County Humane Society, the illustrations in this book are all based upon actual rescue dogs. Many of them, sadly, were still at the shelter when this book went to print. Freddy himself was still there, waiting for his special person.
