Upon inheriting the family farm she’d known nothing about prior to the reading of her grandmother’s will, free-lance artist, Emma Franklin stumbles upon a mystery concerning her ancestor, Scottish immigrant, Gavin MacKinlay—the town’s namesake and founder of Golden Apple Farm—the very farm she inherited.
