I am an average person that was reared by my grandmother. My grandmother was better known as Mama Cus, Mrs. Cus, Mrs. Key in the community. She was a disciplinarian when needed to be. She was a no-nonsense loving wife, mother, grandmother, and more. My grandmother accepted me in her home even though we did not know each other at that time when I came to Mississippi. There were gang related issues in Chicago and I was sent to Mis- sissippi to be reared. I learned about God when I came to Mississippi. I’ve always tried to do the right things as a person. I drifted away after Mama Cus death in 1981. I still attended church weekly on Sunday, but I got away from my teaching about the Sabbath. This book takes you on my personal journey how you can go astray but come back, like the prodigal child in the bible. I think most of us have been prodigal children at some point in our life, but found our way back. If this is you, You can find your way back as well if you turn your will over to Jesus Christ. Jesus has not left us. Perhaps we may have left Him. But don’t despair. 2 Peter 3:8 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slack- ness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
