Description
Grief doesn't follow a timeline. It doesn't wait for a convenient moment. And it never looks the same twice.
If you're holding this book, you're probably walking through one of the hardest seasons of your life. Maybe the loss is fresh and the fog is thick. Maybe it's been months and everyone else has moved on—but you haven't. Maybe you're not even sure what you're feeling, only that something inside you is broken.
You're not alone. And you don't have to figure this out by yourself.
GOOD GRIEVE is a 90-day devotional journal designed to walk beside you through grief—not to tell you how to feel, but to give you permission to feel whatever comes.
Each daily entry offers: A meaningful quote or Scripture to anchor your day A short reflection that meets you where you are—honest, hopeful, and free of empty platitudes A journaling prompt to help you process your thoughts and emotions Space to write, remember, and breathe
The 90 days are organized around four threads that weave through the grief journey: Embracing the Journey — Permission to grieve at your own pace Honoring the Love — Remembering the one you've lost Seeking Support & Guidance — Practical help and resources A Foundation of Hope — Faith that carries you forward
Milestone markers at Days 30, 60, and 90 acknowledge the courage it takes to keep going.
This journal was born from real grief.
Author Tracy LeRoux first walked into a GriefShare circle 35 weeks pregnant—unable to fly to her own father's funeral. She later held her step-dad's hand as he peacefully passed at 94. And she sat with her family for twelve weeks supporting her mother through loss. Three deaths. Three completely different grief experiences. That's when she realized: there is no one way to grieve.
When her best friend's only child died, his world collapsed. He wasn't ready for a support group—he could barely get out of bed. Tracy wanted to give him more than a casserole. So she wrote this journal.
For 15 years, Tracy and her husband Michael have quietly given away over 1,500 copies—hand-to-hand, heart-to-heart. Tucked into sympathy cards. Pressed into the hands of people who've just received the worst news of their lives.
Now, for the first time, GOOD GRIEVE is available to everyone.
