Description

From the Publisher This easy and fun to read book is suitable for all ages. Children, especially, will enjoy the rhythm and rhyme of the words--perhaps read to them at bedtime. Chapter topics permit numerous break points to stop and reflect on the words and their meaning. The Table of Contents cross references the chapter topics to their Biblical verses. From the Author When I was going through school, I remembered certain subjects by putting them in rhyme. When it came time for a test, I could recite the rhyme and answer all the questions. I wrote this book as a way to draw closer to God's Word. After all, what lesson is more important to learn in life than God's love and forgiveness? Each day, certain lines from this book will pop into my head and remind me of the promises and sacrifices God has made. It is my hope that this book will help others remember and apply God's Word on a daily basis. About the Author Cathy Young was raised on a farm in Ohio. With each passing year, she watched corn, wheat, soybeans, baby pigs, calves, chickens, puppies, and kittens grow. This experience provided Cathy with a deep appreciation for all forms of life. Her two loving parents, an older brother, and younger sister firmly rooted her faith in God, the Source of all life. "God has blessed me in so many ways," says Cathy. "I am especially thankful for my memories of growing up on the farm. This simple lifestyle has made me rich! Not in worldly terms, but rich in my love for God and life." That night as he slept, in a dream did appear An angel to Joseph saying "Do not ye fear. By the Spirit's power did Mary conceive. A Son shall be born with great things to achieve. When He is born, He shall have the name Jesus." Prophets call Him Emmanuel, which means 'God is with us'. When Joseph awoke, like the angel had said, He went to Mary and the two of them wed. He was named Jesus on the day of His birth. Our Lord and our Savior had at last come to earth.
