Description
Josie was a precocious puppy who was brought to a shelter because her owners couldn't keep up with her energy. She was later adopted by a woman named Marla, who saw she was so much more than just a trouble-maker. She was a leader, and the inspiration behind a rescue that would end up saving hundreds more animals just like her. This is the story of how Josie became Queen of Misfit Ranch, an animal rescue in Ellensburg, Washington that saves animals wounded in body and spirit. You can learn more about Josie and the ranch and download a free activity book to complement this story at www.josiesmisfitranch.org/book
