John Henry Booker meets Tex Paz. Lucca Zito arrives in Rawlins Springs. An investment company is formed for economic expansion in Carbon County. Plans for the Golden Eagle, Le Grande Carême, Lucky Lady, and Red Bluffs Ranch are advanced. Tensions grow between the CCADA Nation and the Seven Sisters. Frontier folks envision a national poker tournament and round-up rodeo. The posse, headed by Boot Hill, apprehends the outlaw, C. J. Kane. There is an escape. Chief Grey Fox intervenes at Fort Fred Steele. Evildoers abduct Becky Ruth. Wolfdog Bosler saves the day. A puzzling mystery is uncovered. Mary Anna Kane arrives in Rawlins Springs to take the Cossack cowboy home.
