Description
Leadership Over Likership is more than a phrase. It
is a philosophy forged in the crucible of my life and
service. This book is the culmination of years spent
learning what true leadership means not just in the
Marine Corps, but in every corner of life.
I wrote this book for anyone who has ever faced
hard choices, tough battles, or moments of doubt.
For those who want to lead with integrity, courage,
and purpose whether on the battlefield, in the
boardroom, or within their communities.
My journey began in Lafayette, Louisiana, shaped
by the values of family, culture, and faith. It was
carried forward through the demanding rigor of
Marine Corps training, the challenges of leadership
roles, and the struggles of transition.
Through these pages, I share the lessons I learned
the hard way, the victories, failures, and moments
that defined me.
Leadership is not about being liked. It is about
being trusted. It is about standing firm when the
easy path beckons you to sway.
This book is an invitation to lead boldly to put
leadership over likership and to make a difference
that lasts.
