With a Christian approach to major health concerns that can affect teenagers, Let's Be Healthy discusses physical fitness, nutrition, and first aid. Among current health topics discussed are a high-energy diet, obesity, bulimia, anorexia nervosa, and the widespread AIDS epidemic. Students also learn to recognize symptoms requiring emergency aid and are taught when and how to help and when to get trained medical help. Following the clear instructions and diagrams of basic first aid methods helps them prevent minor injuries from becoming serious ones. Designed as a one semester course to be used following the science text Matter and Motion in God's Universe.
