The old trunk held letters, photos, ledgers, and other items dating back centuries, gathered and saved by one of his ancestors. Within those documents, he found the fascinating story of his family history dating back to one member born in 1600. The personal letters also uncovered a treasure trove of history which coursed like a river - marriages combining families like tributaries - and flowing through the centuries to this modern day.
