LORD OF THE HARVEST

The servants of the farmer notice the tares and question whether they should pull them up. The farmer wisely responds, “No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them” (Matthew 13:29 NKJV). This highlights a crucial point: Patience and Discernment: The farmer's response teaches us the importance of patience and discernment in dealing with the challenges of life. In our zeal to eradicate evil, we must be careful not to harm the good. In Hebrew, the word for patience is sabhar (סָבַר), which conveys the idea of enduring and waiting for the right time.
