A compilation of words curated by upcoming Houston spoken word artist Cari Jané; digging into the details of heartbreak, learning & unlearning perceptions of love in the midst of exploring her sexuality, while too grieving her innocence, she illustrates the constant planting and uprooting that is the process of repotting yourself as you outgrow the versions that no longer serve you and rather, as they say about those who are no longer with us, putting them “to rest”. But this is not a book about death- but rather, reincarnation of self.
