More Than Lilies

More than Lilies means that although flowers quickly go through their cycles, God still clothes them with beauty and splendor. God loves us despite how much we do because He loves us more than the lilies that do not work, and are still cared for. He pursues our hearts and desires to be known by us. So where is the disconnect? Why is that not evident in the religion we practice? Why does the church send people running? These are all questions that have crossed my mind. This is why I wrote More Than Lilies. I aim to break down stereotypes, change perspectives, and invoke thought. I truly believe that Modern Day Christianity is failing to reflect Christ well, and hope that generationally we can change that. What if we truly aimed to reflect Christ, love others, and pursue individuals rather than arguments? Would your faith look different? Would our world change?
