My Book of Bible Stories (Christ Edition) Volume 3

This Volume is our ongoing attempt to help younger Christians or younger readers in how to handle stories, narratives, expressions and things in the scriptures. My journey as a younger Christian was encumbered with that difficulty of reading through the Bible. My journey was not helped as much as I also encountered certain books that were meant to help in guidance. In my experience, the books looked a bit too comical, too surreal or even sometimes, totally incredible in how to relate the Bible stories and today’s account of Christianity. In the preceding volumes, we have taken on these scenarios, issues and narratives one by one and attempted to explain them using as uncomplicated a language as possible. We are grateful to God for the many testimonies we have received, of how this series has helped Pastors in their children’s and Youth churches, and even their adult churches in their study of scriptures generally. This time around, our focus is the supernatural world context of the scriptures. This will help in reading through the language of the Bible itself. We submit that an acceptance of science fiction in today’s world, both by young and old alike, seems to point our attention to a part of this world that is not as ordinary as it looks at face value. We assert that the Bible has such claims and it is true and not incredible. Here in this particular volume, we intend to take the reader through different stories of scriptures and provide the proper expression and explanation. This will not only help the Sunday School teacher, the children’s Church teacher, but also the parent who seeks to take their children through the scriptures.
