It is written as a tribute to the author's father, the late Rev. John Wilson, a famous Ugandan evangelist who travelled aroung the world speaking about peace and reconciliation. In 1986, John Wilson was murdered in his beloved homeland of Uganda while trying to reconcile the warring factions, and it was then that his daughter decided that his message and his example were too important to die. The book is partly autobiographical, partly a biography on his life. It is the author's personal experience of the most wonderful father a woman can ever ask for and an indepth look at his uncompromising commitment to God, his family, and his fellow human beings.
