My Trail of Tears

My Trail of Tears conveys what it's like growing up with narcissistic parents and later on marrying a man who was also one. After beating cancer, a heart attack and a divorce I found myself creating more art and poetry then I ever have. My Trail of Tears compiles all of my writings and artwork I did in my healing process. I seek to heal and mend those that have also been through similar situations and if you haven't been down that road, I hope you can see a different prospective. This book of art and poems dives into topics such as abuse, neglect and moments most fear to share. From dating a man in the notorious Hells Angel biker gang to night terrors and the idea of family being smeared and bent. Life is full of pain and love and Debra isn't afraid to write about them both. Debra Flies Artwork is currently based out of Texas and continues to write till this day.
