Description
It started with a tent and a vision to tell the next generations about the greatness of God and the importance of a Christ-centered life. It has been said over and over for nearly a century that the presence of God is felt here. Faith is shared, a song of praise is sung, and deep, lasting friendships are forged in the Spirit fire here. This book looks at the first 90 years of Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp, from its very beginnings. Chapters cover events from all the decades, complete with pictures and quotes. Other special chapters cover specific programs, testimonies, and even the history of Ingham Lake Camp. Summer staff lists, year-round staff lists, and board lists are included as appendixes. Jeanne Sorensen spent a couple of years researching to make this book as historically accurate as possible.
