Telling my story is huge for me; it makes my life worth living. I want my grandkids to know that I wasn’t always a loser. I feel I was kept on this earth for a reason and that is to educate young people about the horrible effects of drug addiction. Since I’ve been clean and sober, I’ve given many talks to high schools, and it’s my life ambition. I had given up on life and decided that I was just going to be that too-much-fun guy and that’s it. If life wasn’t fun, I didn’t want to be a part of it, but if there was fun and it felt good, I did it. I found out later the reason why I was so obsessive compulsive was that I have that disorder!
