Help Your Child Understand Differences — and Discover the Power of Peace
Do you want your child to better understand themselves and get along more easily with others?
Welcome to the Enneagram Gang — a delightful children’s series that introduces personality differences in a way young minds can truly grasp. Through fun, relatable characters and engaging stories, children learn that different doesn’t mean wrong. In fact, our differences are what make us special.
In this heartwarming story, meet Posie Peace, an Enneagram Type Nine. Posie loves harmony and calm — but when her playmates start arguing, she faces a challenge. Will she stay quiet to keep the peace, or find the courage to step forward and help?
As Posie discovers her voice, children learn that creating peace sometimes means being brave.
Written especially for children ages 3–8, this beautifully illustrated book gently explores:
• Understanding personality differences
• Building empathy and compassion
• Finding your voice in difficult moments
• Valuing your own gifts — and those of others
• Growing in emotional confidence
No prior knowledge of the Enneagram is needed. Ann Gadd translates this powerful personality system into stories that are simple, warm, and meaningful — for children and the adults who read with them.
A perfect book for families, classrooms, and anyone who wants to raise kind, emotionally aware children who appreciate both their own strengths and the unique contributions of others. Ann Gadd is the author of: Sex and the Enneagram The Enneagram of Eating Paint by Numbers – Art and the Enneagram (Launching Sept. 2021) Better Parenting with the Enneagram (Launching early 2022) No previous knowledge of the Enneagram is required to enjoy this series of nine books which aim to help children (and adults), gain an understanding and appreciation of all Enneagram types. In making the complex simple, Gadd gets to the core value of each Type and their purpose or lesson in life.
Praise for Ann Gadd's children's Enneagram Series:
So good for kids and all-encompassing to share, amazing job! I am grateful for this book and look forward to reading the others. - Monica. (Sally Star)
My 7-year-old son loved this book. He enjoyed all of the character's names. He thought Arthur was cool. In fact, he asked for the entire series so he can get to know all the characters. They we referred to in this book and there was a page at the end that had pictures of each. I thought this book did a nice job of teaching the message that each of us is special and that we don't have to be like everyone else. This is just the message I am wanting to instil in my son. - R. Rich (Arthur Artsy)
I loved reading this story! I enjoyed how the author and illustrator were able to convey the emotions of the character through certain words, alliteration, and pictures. I laughed throughout the book as the author talked about made-up places like "Yallnevegettherealive"! I know that children will enjoy this book, as well as parents. I actually learned something new by reading it! I had never heard of an Enneagram before, now I'm convinced that I am a Type 2! - Shanita (Felix Fun) Goodreads
