In early spring, ice patches, washed out stretches of pavement and blasts of frigid air off the open sea are common along Maine's coastal roads. What is not common is the sight of a woman like Felicia Moretti walking the shore road of York on a bitterly cold morning in 1995. Underdressed for the weather, the lovely twenty-six year old appeared completely out of her element and for weeks the unapproachable Felicia warded off any and all male attention.
